In September, SC Solar held a grand graduation ceremony for the 2024 Sunrise Program, where 22 new employees successfully graduated. The Sunrise Program aims to cultivate new talent and establish a pathway for career development. It has successfully conducted two sessions to date, nurturing dozens of young talents for the company. The 2024 Sunrise Program not only helps new employees get acquainted with the company and its operations but also paves the way for their career growth, provides guidance, facilitates their transition into new roles, and achieves deep integration between talent and the organization.
In the initial phase of the Sunrise Program, the company arranged a two-day training project titled “Getting to Know SC Solar” for new employees. The training covers company culture, safety production knowledge, work-life tips, and more. Through detailed explanations by experienced employees, new hires gain a comprehensive understanding of SC Solar and quickly integrate into the company culture. Additionally, each new employee is paired with a one-on-one mentor, and both parties sign a mentorship agreement to foster mutual growth.
During the training, the company invited veteran department instructors to conduct five team sharing days, where they systematically taught new employees relevant business courses. The curriculum included knowledge of company products, photovoltaic market dynamics, LSS (Lean Six Sigma), project management fundamentals, and basic financial knowledge, aimed at helping new hires rapidly accumulate essential business knowledge and improve their working abilities, thus laying a solid foundation for their future career development.
To help new employees deeply experience the corporate culture, enhance communication among staff, and enrich their extracurricular activities, the company organized multiple team-building events. Through birthday tea parties, urban cultural explorations, badminton competitions, and book sharing sessions, new employees had the opportunity to bond in a relaxed atmosphere, experiencing the warmth and care of the company. These activities also stimulated team cohesion and creativity, providing employees with a platform to showcase and challenge themselves.
Building on the coursework, and to further enhance the new employees’ professional skills and teamwork abilities while assessing the training outcomes, the new hires collaborated in teams to complete their graduation design projects for the second phase of the Sunrise Program. These projects encompassed various fields such as engineering design, market communication, supply chain management, and customer relationship maintenance, allowing the new employees to test and develop their skills in a real work environment, becoming more familiar with workflows and cultivating the ability to solve practical problems.
SC Solar has always adhered to a talent development philosophy centered on “people-oriented, innovation-driven.” Over the years, the company has continuously created a high-end, in-depth, and diversified talent incubation and development platform, consistently nurturing and delivering outstanding photovoltaic talents for the enterprise and society. The Sunrise Program serves as a crucial component in SC Solar’s talent cultivation journey, playing a key role in injecting fresh talent into the company and promoting high-level development. SC Solar hopes to grow alongside the younger generation, working hand in hand to create a greener and more sustainable future.
