SC Solar Shines at SOLARTECH INDONESIA 2024

From March 6th to 8th, SOLARTECH INDONESIA 2024 was grandly held at the Jakarta. As the largest photovoltaic and energy storage trade fair in ASEAN, SOLARTECH INDONESIA gathered numerous leading photovoltaic component manufacturers, and other green energy enterprises. SC Solar, as a leading enterprise in PV intelligent manufacturing that has been deeply cultivating the Southeast Asian market for many years, was invited to participate and showcased its latest PV module automated production line turnkey solutions at the exhibition.

Indonesia is one of the largest economies in Southeast Asia and the fourth most populous country globally, with abundant sunlight resources. Currently, Indonesia’s growing energy demand faces many challenges, including dependence on fossil fuels, inadequate grids, and energy price fluctuations. To address these challenges, the Indonesian government has formulated a series of policies and measures aimed at promoting the development of renewable energy, especially the photovoltaic industry. By 2040, it is estimated that Indonesia’s cumulative investment in geothermal and solar energy fields will exceed $55 billion.

According to the recent proposal for adjustments to the National Energy Policy by the Indonesian National Energy Council (DEN), the proportion of renewable energy in Indonesia’s energy structure is expected to reach 17%-19% by 2025. In the draft Comprehensive Investment and Policy Plan (CIPP) released by the Indonesian government at the end of last year, Indonesia’s solar power capacity is expected to reach 29.3GW by 2030 and 264.6GW by 2050, accounting for more than half of Indonesia’s total installed electricity capacity, thus achieving decarbonization goals. Currently, Indonesia’s photovoltaic production capacity and installed capacity are still at relatively low levels, providing a considerable market for global photovoltaic companies to develop in Indonesia.

Furthermore, due to Indonesia’s requirement for a 40% localization rate (TKDN) for products such as solar panels in photovoltaic projects, and the government’s intention to increase this restriction to 60%, deep cooperation between overseas equipment manufacturers and photovoltaic manufacturing enterprises in Indonesia has become the best path for win-win development and market expansion. SC Solar has been at the forefront of layout and deep cultivation of the Indonesian market for many years, providing PV module production lines and related intelligent equipment for photovoltaic manufacturers such as APOLLO and ATELIER, and has gained wide recognition. At this year’s SOLARTECH, more photovoltaic companies came to the SC booth seeking further cooperation and expressed gratitude and praise for the professional solutions provided by the SC team.

SC Solar provides automated line and process equipment solutions for photovoltaic module and cell production. It has advanced technological reserves and actual product sales in efficient battery and module equipment fields such as TOPCon, HJT, and perovskite. Its products are exported to more than 30 countries and regions globally.
