SC Solar’s Distributed Photovoltaic Project Successfully Grid-Connected

Recently, the 3.107MW distributed photovoltaic power station project of SC Solar was successfully connected to the grid and put into operation. The station adopts a new installation method and is provided with full-process services including design, construction management, power supply procedures handling and acceptance, and after-sales operation and maintenance by the Canadian Solar EPC team. The completion of this project will lay a solid foundation for the sustainable development of SC Solar, injecting new impetus into reducing production carbon emissions and promoting the construction of green enterprises.

The distributed photovoltaic power station project of SC Solar covers a total area of over 20,000 square meters. Considering factors such as shadow shading, roof drainage, and later operation and maintenance, adhering to the design concept of “precise consumption and optimized layout,” it effectively utilizes factory roofs and parking sheds. Over 5,000 efficient N-type double-sided TOPCon modules were installed, with an installed capacity of 3.107MW. The project adopts the operation mode of “self-use and surplus electricity grid connection.” According to the sunshine conditions in Suzhou, it is expected to generate 95.682 million kWh of electricity in the next 30 years, equivalent to reducing CO2 emissions by approximately 83,400 tons, equivalent to planting 4.56 million trees.

Since its establishment, SC Solar has been continuously promoting the construction of green parks, striving to create a natural priority, environmentally friendly office and production environment. This distributed photovoltaic power station project is an important part of the company’s green energy strategy. The successful grid connection of the power station will not only save a large amount of electricity costs for the company but also effectively and long-termly reduce the impact of production activities on the local environment. It will make positive contributions to coping with global climate change, achieving carbon neutrality goals, and is also another milestone on the path of SC Solar’s green, low-carbon, and sustainable development.

SC Solar is deeply involved in the research and development, manufacturing, sales, and services of intelligent equipment in the photovoltaic industry, ranking first in the market share of segmented fields of photovoltaic component automation production lines. Over the years, SC Solar has always adhered to the corporate sustainable development concept of “smart manufacturing leads, green drives,” and implemented the concept of low-carbon environmental protection and energy conservation and emission reduction in all aspects of production construction. Mr. Zuguoliang, General Manager of SC Solar, stated that in response to the “dual-carbon” policy, photovoltaic new energy is the core driving force for the green transformation of enterprises. In the future, SC Solar will work hand in hand with global partners to make photovoltaic manufacturing easier and contribute intelligent manufacturing strength to building a clean and zero-carbon society.
