SC Solar Shines at Intersolar North America

From January 17 to 19, the grand opening of Intersolar North America, one of the largest and most significant solar PV exhibitions in North America, took place at the San Diego Convention Center in California. The event attracted over 26,000 professional attendees and featured 600+ exhibitors and brands.

California, situated in North America’s subtropical region, with diverse topography and stable climate, stands as one of the regions in the United States with the broadest sunlight range and highest intensity. One-third of the total solar equipment in the U.S. converges in California, making it a central hub for the American solar industry. According to the Short-Term Energy Outlook report released by EIA, it is projected that the installed capacity of PV systems in the U.S. will increase to 131 GW by 2024 and further rise to 174 GW by 2025. California, being the most crucial PV market in the U.S., is widely favored by investors and module manufacturers amidst the current wave of PV installation growth.
Starting from the fourth quarter of the previous year, various segments of the domestic PV industry chain experienced price declines, short-term oversupply of module production capacity, and an adjustment period in the supply-demand structure. Top-tier PV enterprises such as LONGi, JA Solar, Jinko, Trina Solar, and Canadian Solar have actively sought overseas market opportunities. On the other hand, with the expiration of the tariff exemption on PV module imports from Southeast Asia and the stimulating subsidies provided by the inflation reduction act for domestic PV capacity, PV enterprises from various countries have joined the competition to build factories in the U.S. This trend presents significant development opportunities for PV equipment companies.

Having established a strong presence in the North American market over the years, SC Solar actively built a local service network and set up research and development, sales, and technical service centers. The company has provided over 20 PV module production lines for partners such as Jinko, Trina, Canadian Solar, Runergy, LG, Sunpower, Mission, Heliene, making it the leading supplier of PV module production lines with the highest market share in the U.S. market. SC Solar has consistently earned customer trust with outstanding product performance and diverse localized services, gaining international recognition.
In the era of flourishing intelligent manufacturing, SC Solar adheres to the concept of intelligent manufacturing, conducts in-depth research and development of innovative technologies, and continuously upgrades production lines by combining smart factory (i-SEAP) and AI big data platforms, providing customers with a stable, efficient, digitalized, and intelligent experience in PV module manufacturing.

At the exhibition, SC Solar’s sales team provided detailed introductions and customized turnkey solutions for PV module automation production lines, garnering widespread attention and acclaim from attendees. Upholding the corporate mission of “making PV manufacturing as easy as possible,” SC Solar remains committed to technological innovation as its core driving force, constantly breaking through technological barriers and expanding the boundaries of intelligent manufacturing. SC Solar will continue to collaborate with global partners to jointly promote the development of the PV industry and contribute to optimizing the global energy structure and achieving dual carbon goals.
