On October 17th, SC Solar held its seventh Quality Month summary meeting, marking the successful conclusion of this series of Quality Month activities. The theme of this SC Solar Quality Month was “Practicing Standardization, Enhancing Product Quality.” The goal was to gather the collective wisdom and efforts of the entire company, strengthen quality management standards, improve production efficiency, and fulfill SC Solar’s commitment to high-quality photovoltaic equipment. This effort aims to provide customers with superior and reliable products and solutions.
Specialized Training: SC Solar organized 14 specialized training sessions and seminars during the event. These sessions enhanced employees’ understanding of production standards and processes and promoted a culture of standardization in their daily work. The emphasis was on the latest standards and best practices in the photovoltaic industry to ensure that products maintain a competitive edge in the market while adhering to principles of green and sustainable development.
Standardization Proposals: During Quality Month, SC Solar encouraged employees to actively identify and share issues. A total of 49 standardization proposals were submitted across various departments, covering aspects such as product design, production processes, operational details, and safety protocols. A comprehensive evaluation was conducted, and five outstanding individuals were recognized for their contributions to standardization.
“Key Process” Quality Improvement: SC Solar focused on the “key processes” as a critical evaluation point for quality improvement. The production situations in various factories were comprehensively assessed and ranked. By convening the efforts of production, process, design, and engineering departments, the installation standards for these key processes were reviewed, optimized, and refined. This approach ensured high-quality execution of critical processes and improved overall product quality.
Supplier Coaching for Standardization: To ensure that all aspects of the supply chain met high-quality standardization requirements, SC Solar closely collaborated with its suppliers. They encouraged and assisted suppliers in developing more comprehensive operating and testing standards in line with the company’s latest requirements. This effort led to improvements in 30 standardization projects, contributing to enhanced efficiency and reliability throughout the supply chain and fostering healthier and mutually beneficial partnerships.
On-Site Auditing: During the month, each of SC Solar’s divisions established cross-departmental auditing teams. They conducted on-site audits at least once a week, totaling over 30 audits. These audits identified 121 issues. Departments promptly addressed these issues with high standards, ensuring efficient correction and improvement and the steady progression of production activities.
Theme Essay Competition: Under the theme of “Execution and Standardization,” SC Solar organized a company-wide essay competition. The competition aimed to generate collective insights into standardization and the optimization of execution. After careful evaluation by judges, eight outstanding essays stood out from numerous submissions. These essays not only provided valuable ideas and recommendations for the company but also inspired more employees to participate and innovate.
In the future, SC Solar will continue its dedication to enhancing product quality, promoting standardization and green production, optimizing the supply chain, and achieving high-quality results with cost efficiency.
