The completion and equipment commissioning ceremony of SC Solar North Base project was successfully held

On January 8, 2023, the project completion and equipment commissioning ceremony of the new plant of Qinhuangdao Shengcheng Automation Equipment Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as Qinhuangdao SC), the Northern production base of SC Solar Photovoltaic, was successfully held. Gao Jingyu, Director of Management Committee of Qinhuangdao Economic and Technological Development Zone, Yang Fuyu, Director of China Merchants Bureau of Qinhuangdao Economic and Technological Development Zone, Mr. Zu Guoliang, General manager of Shengcheng Photovoltaic, Mr. Jin Chunlin, Executive general manager, Mr. Li Shuopeng, general manager of Qinhuangdao Shengcheng, Qinhuangdao Shengcheng Management team, representatives of participating units and representatives of partners attended the ceremony to witness this important moment.

Mr. Zu Guoliang, General Manager of SC Solar, first delivered a speech to express warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to all the distinguished guests. Mr. Zu said that Qinhuangdao SC is the northern production base of SC Solar, as well as the main R&D and manufacturing base of laminator, the core process equipment of photovoltaic modules. Since its establishment in March 2019, Qinhuangdao SC has always been driven by technological innovation and pursued high-quality casting. The shipment of laminator has been increasing year by year. In 2022, Qinhuangdao SC has achieved the gratifying achievement
of No.1 laminator shipment and No.1 market share! The completion of the project and equipment production, marking Qinhuangdao SC will take a new journey with a brand new look. We believe that under the leadership of Qinhuangdao Economic and Technological Development Zone government and with the help of friends from all circles, SC Solar will make
more contributions in the field of solar photovoltaic packaging equipment in the future.

Gao Jingyu, Director of the Management Committee of Qinhuangdao Economic and Technological Development Zone, expressed warm congratulations to SC Solar on behalf of the government, and said that Qinhuangdao SC Project is a key project in Hebei Province and a benchmark project for high-end intelligent equipment manufacturing in North China. This production ceremony marks the first solid step of Qinhuangdao SC. It is hoped that Qinhuangdao SC will continue to emancipate the mind, boldly practice and dare to try in the future, strive to be an excellent well-known enterprise in the city, the province and even the country, and make greater contribution to the realization of the national carbon neutral vision.

Accompanied by a wonderful lion dance performance, the ribbon-cutting ceremony was complete. Afterwards, all guests took a group photo and visited the office area and production workshop of Qinhuangdao SC for in-depth exchanges and cooperation. Qinhuangdao SC new plant has advanced research and development conditions, clean and tidy production workshop and spacious and comfortable office environment.

After the new project is put into operation, the production capacity of SC Solar laminator will be greatly improved, and SC Solar’s whole-line equipment strength in the field of solar module automation production will be further strengthene.d. In the future, SC Solar will continue to strengthen research and development and innovation, deepen photovoltaic intelligent manufacturing, improve core technological advantages, continue to create value for customers, make photovoltaic manufacturing easier, and help global energy green and low-carbon transformation.
